The Lion and the Mouse

Once upon a time, in a vast field, there lived a mighty lion and a tiny mouse. One sunny day, the lion was taking a nap under a shady tree. Suddenly, the mouse accidentally ran over his paw. The lion was furious at being awakened. He roared and caught the mouse in his paw.
‘Please, Mr Lion, let me go!’ squeaked the mouse, trembling with fear. ‘I’m just a tiny mouse, but one day, I might be able to help you.’
The lion, amused by the mouse’s bravery, chuckled and said, ‘You? Help me?
That’s ridiculous! But you amuse me, so I’ll let you go.’
Years passed, and one day, the lion found himself trapped in a hunter’s net. He roared for help and struggled to break free. However, the net only tightened around him. When he thought he was in big trouble, he saw the little mouse running towards him. The mouse gnawed through the net’s ropes with his sharp teeth. He rescued the lion!
The lion was amazed and grateful for the mouse’s bravery. He realized that even the smallest friend could be a big help in times of need. From that day on, the lion and the mouse became best friends.
