N: Jack plants a seed. He feels excited and hopes it will grow into a fruit tree.
Jack shows his mum the seedling, but she thinks it looks unhealthy. Jack
doesn’t give up. He believes in the little seed.

N: The next day, Jack wakes up early and runs to the garden.

J: Wow! You’re so tall! You’re a beanstalk! You seem to touch the clouds!

N: Jack climbs the beanstalk.

J: I’m at the top! What an amazing town in the sky! Wow, a giant’s house!

G: You thief! How dare you come to steal my treasure!

N: The giant wants to catch Jack, and Jack runs down the beanstalk. When
Jack reaches the ground, he uses an axe to hack at the beanstalk. The
beanstalk falls, and Jack is safe!
