Loch Ness is a huge lake in Scotland. It’s a beautiful, cold lake. It is too cold
for swimming. Many people believe there is a monster in the lake. It’s called
the Loch Ness Monster. It’s also called Nessie.
Some people watch Loch Ness for a long time and try to see Nessie. People
say that the Loch Ness Monster is very long and thin. Some people say it
looks like a dragon or a snake. Some believe it is an ancient dinosaur. There
are some photos of the monster, but most are fake and no one knows if
the others are real.
Nessie is very popular with tourists. You can buy lots of souvenirs with
Nessie on them. People visit Loch Ness every year to try to see it. People
drive around the lake and sail on it. But at the moment, nobody knows if
Nessie is a real or mythical creature.
