In the charming Hillside Village, there lives a young boy named Theodore, who adores his daily bicycle rides. The bicycle was a special gift from his loving grandparents. It is very precious to him, and he loves it a lot.
One morning, Theodore runs to grab his bicycle from the yard. ‘Oh no! My bicycle is missing!’ he cries.
Theodore asks his friends, Lily and Lucas, if they have seen anything. ‘No, we haven’t,’ Lily says.
‘Let’s look around our neighbourhood,’ Lucas suggests.
They talk to Mrs Baker, who is running nearby. ‘Sorry, kids. I didn’t notice anything,’ she replies.
They proceed to the park, where they discover some suspicious marks on the ground. ‘These resemble tyre tracks,’ says Lucas.
They follow the tracks, which lead them to Mr Miller’s garage. They see Theodore’s dad holding his bicycle. ‘Hey, Theodore! I saw your bicycle stuck in mud behind the shrubbery, so I asked Mr Miller to help clean it,’ his dad says.
Suddenly, Theodore remembers that he left his bicycle behind the shrubbery yesterday.
Theodore experiences a valuable lesson, realising the importance of being more cautious and mindful of his belongings in the future.
